Job Description

The Commercial Director plays a key role in driving the overall revenue and profitability of the organization by leading the commercial strategy and business development initiatives. As a key member of the senior management team, the Commercial Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth, identifying new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and maximizing revenue streams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, business development, and commercial management, with excellent leadership and communication skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can make sound decisions that align with the company's overall objectives and market trends. Strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a solid understanding of market dynamics are essential for success in this position. The Commercial Director will also be responsible for managing a team of sales and marketing professionals, setting targets, and driving performance to achieve revenue goals. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage commercial strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead and oversee sales and business development activities to drive growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competition to identify new opportunities and market segments.
  • Manage pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and financial aspects of commercial deals.
  • Direct and coordinate marketing efforts to support sales and business development initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and sales targets to track progress and evaluate success.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and product development, to ensure alignment and effectiveness of commercial strategies.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the commercial team, supporting their professional development and success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Proven experience in a commercial or sales leadership role, preferably in the same industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
