Job Description

The Commercial Consultant will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support in managing commercial activities such as sales negotiations, contract management, pricing strategies, and market development within UAE-based businesses. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external clients to optimize revenue opportunities, ensure compliance with UAE trade and business laws, and support commercial decision-making. The consultant operates in fast-paced sectors such as real estate, construction, legal, or B2B services.


Responsibilities:

  • Advising on and supporting the preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts and agreements in compliance with UAE legal frameworks.

  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to guide pricing strategies, service offerings, and market entry plans.

  • Collaborating with sales, legal, and finance teams to develop proposals and ensure commercial feasibility of deals.

  • Identifying new business opportunities and supporting business development teams with tailored client pitches.

  • Monitoring commercial performance metrics and reporting on key revenue drivers and areas of risk.

  • Ensuring contracts, procurement processes, and supplier relationships align with company policies and UAE regulations.

  • Assisting with dispute resolution, contract claims, and risk management from a commercial standpoint.

  • Staying updated on UAE commercial laws, trade regulations, and sector-specific compliance issues.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commercial Law, Economics, or a related field; a master’s or legal qualification is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in a commercial, legal, or consultancy role, preferably within the UAE.

  • Strong understanding of UAE commercial laws, contract law, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and communicate with both internal teams and external clients.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management tools; ERP knowledge is a plus.

  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an asset, especially for local market dealings.
