Civil QC Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil QC Engineer to join our quality control team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will oversee and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements, supporting quality assurance throughout construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project-specific quality control plans and procedures

• Conduct inspections of civil and structural works, including concrete, rebar, formwork, and finishing

• Review drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with standards

• Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions

• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors for inspection requests

• Maintain accurate QC documentation including inspection reports, checklists, and testing records

• Supervise third-party testing activities and ensure timely delivery of results

• Participate in internal and external audits as required by project and client

• Ensure adherence to local UAE and international standards (e.g., BS, ASTM, ISO)

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality control processes

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 4–6 years of QC experience in civil construction, with UAE/GCC project exposure

• Strong understanding of construction materials, practices, and industry codes

• Certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001:2015, CSWIP, or equivalent) preferred

• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and reporting tools

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and quality management systems

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Knowledge of UAE construction safety and regulatory compliance standards

• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with cross-functional project teams
