Civil Engineer

We are looking for a qualified and detail-driven Civil Engineer to join our project team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise construction projects, including roads, buildings, and utilities

• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards

• Prepare technical reports, engineering drawings, and documentation in coordination with design teams

• Estimate project costs, prepare BOQs, and support procurement processes

• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and government authorities for permits and approvals

• Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes, environmental standards, and quality control procedures

• Resolve any unexpected technical issues or delays on site with practical and timely solutions

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align civil works with electrical, mechanical, and architectural aspects

• Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery

• Implement safety practices and participate in regular risk assessments and audits

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution

• 3–7 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably within the UAE or GCC

• Valid UAE Society of Engineers membership and knowledge of local building codes

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software (Primavera or MS Project)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project components under deadlines

• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices is a plus

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage

• UAE driving license is preferred
