Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, etc.) to determine project feasibility.
• Prepare engineering designs and ensure they meet project specifications and applicable codes.
• Manage and oversee construction projects, including coordinating with contractors and other professionals.
• Perform calculations and analysis for structural integrity, capacity, and stability.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Develop project budgets and timelines; monitor and report on progress.
• Conduct quality control and assurance to ensure construction meets design standards.
• Evaluate and recommend materials and equipment for projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in civil engineering technology.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, concepts, and practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software programs
• Excellent project management and communication skills
