Job Description
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects. This includes conducting site investigations, preparing engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success. Strong technical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Design and create engineering drawings, such as structural plans and site plans.
- Conduct site investigations and surveys to assess project feasibility and risks.
- Prepare and review project specifications, contracts, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers for project coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety and building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Monitor and inspect construction projects to ensure adherence to design plans and quality standards.
- Provide technical advice and support to project teams and stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in civil engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in civil engineering and construction projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
