Chemistry Teacher

The Chemistry Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons in chemistry to secondary or high school students. The role involves preparing lesson plans, conducting laboratory experiments, and assessing student performance to foster a deep understanding of chemical principles and scientific inquiry. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, promote critical thinking, and maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

• Teach theoretical and practical chemistry concepts, including atomic structure, chemical reactions, and organic chemistry.

• Supervise and guide students during laboratory experiments, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

• Evaluate student progress through assessments, assignments, and exams.

• Provide additional support to students who need help understanding complex concepts.

• Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive, respectful learning environment.

• Stay updated with advancements in the field of chemistry and integrate relevant developments into the curriculum.

• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the science curriculum and participate in school events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Proven experience teaching chemistry at the secondary or high school level.

• Strong knowledge of chemical principles, laboratory techniques, and safety protocols.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

• Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.

• Familiarity with educational technology and digital teaching tools is a plus.
