Job Description

The CCTV Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. This role involves configuring cameras, routing cables, and troubleshooting technical issues. The CCTV Technician must have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.


Responsibilities

  • Install and configure CCTV cameras, monitors, and related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV systems.
  • Route cables and connect devices to establish CCTV networks.
  • Test and adjust camera angles, focus, and zoom to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CCTV systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on CCTV system operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest CCTV technologies and industry standards.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in installing and maintaining CCTV systems.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV equipment and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
