Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to manage transactions efficiently at our retail outlet in the UAE. The role ensures a smooth checkout experience while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.

  • Greet customers and assist with basic product inquiries.

  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change as needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.

  • Balance cash drawers and report discrepancies.

  • Assist in tagging, stocking, and merchandise display.

  • Follow store policies regarding discounts, returns, and customer interactions.

  • Promote upselling and cross-selling during transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.

  • Resolve minor customer complaints and escalate when necessary.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1–2 years of experience as a cashier or in customer service.

  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with POS systems and payment devices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
