Cashier

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Your duties will include processing payments using cash, credit cards, or electronic methods, balancing cash registers, and handling returns and exchanges. You will also need to answer customer inquiries, assist with any pricing or inventory questions, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role, as you will be required to count money accurately and quickly. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and helpful demeanor, and the ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the establishment in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or electronic system.

• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with restocking merchandise and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers with their purchases.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cashiering or customer service preferred
