Job Description

A Call Center Agent (Credit Card) is responsible for providing customer service and support for credit card inquiries and transactions. They handle incoming calls, resolve customer issues, process payments, and provide information on credit card products and services. Call Center Agents are employed by financial institutions or credit card companies.


Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from customers regarding credit card inquiries and issues.
  • Address customer questions, concerns, and provide product information.
  • Process credit card payments and assist with account inquiries.
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes and complaints.
  • Update customer account information accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to company policies and compliance regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards.
  • Document customer interactions and escalate complex issues to supervisory staff, if required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center role.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of credit card products, services, and industry practices.
  • Ability to navigate computer systems and CRM software effectively.
