Buyer - Fashion

We are looking for a Fashion Buyer to source and select the latest fashion products that align with our brand and customer preferences. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for trends, strong negotiation skills, and experience in retail buying.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market demands to curate the right product selection.
• Develop and execute buying strategies that align with company goals and target audience.
• Select and purchase apparel, footwear, and accessories that fit the brand’s style and budget.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and designers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers to maximize profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and stock turnover, making adjustments when necessary.
• Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product success.
• Attend trade shows, fashion events, and industry exhibitions to stay updated on emerging trends.
• Oversee product quality control and ensure compliance with brand standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Fashion Buyer in retail, e-commerce, or fashion industry.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, textiles, and customer preferences.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong networking and supplier relationship management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and buying/planning software.
