Job Description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) – SaaS is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective clients for software-as-a-service solutions. This role involves researching target markets, initiating outbound outreach, and supporting the sales pipeline through lead generation efforts. Working within the UAE’s fast-growing tech ecosystem, the BDR will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to drive client acquisition while adhering to regional data privacy and business conduct regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers across target industries.

  • Initiating outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to generate qualified leads and set up sales meetings.

  • Understanding client needs and positioning SaaS solutions accordingly to demonstrate value and business impact.

  • Managing CRM systems to track interactions, follow-ups, and progress of leads through the sales funnel.

  • Collaborating with sales executives to develop account strategies and transition qualified leads for closing.

  • Attending industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to build brand presence and generate interest.

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the company’s SaaS offerings, features, and competitive advantages.

  • Ensuring all outreach complies with UAE data protection regulations and professional standards of communication.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation, ideally within the SaaS or tech industry.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, cloud technologies, and the software sales lifecycle.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, client-oriented approach.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools , LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and MS Office.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-focused environment.

  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
