Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth and expanding the company's customer base. They are responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and closing sales deals. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of business development.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and prospecting new clients and business opportunities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals.
- Achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and competitors.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop sales strategies.
- Attending trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
- Proven experience as a business development manager or in a similar role.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
