Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive - Media to join our Sales team at UBL TV. This role is designed for an individual who can develop, pitch, and close sales for TV advertising campaigns, event sponsorships, and logo presence opportunities on-air and during special events. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of TV media sales, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for creating impactful partnerships with clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  TV Campaign Sales:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to sell TV ad spots, commercial campaigns, and sponsorship packages.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their advertising needs and craft tailored TV campaigns that maximize their brand visibility.
  • Pitch and negotiate TV campaign packages to new and existing clients.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance to ensure client satisfaction and maximize ROI.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the channel's programming, audience demographics, and ad inventory.

  Event Sponsorship Sales:

  • Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities for TV channel events, including live shows, special broadcasts, or branded events.
  • Develop compelling proposals for event sponsors and create tailored sponsorship packages that align with clients' goals.
  • Coordinate with the Events team to deliver seamless integration of sponsors into TV event programming.
  • Ensure brand presence is properly showcased at events and maximize sponsor engagement.

    Logo Presence & Brand Integration:

  • Sell logo presence opportunities across various programming, including on-screen graphics, credits, and banner ads.Work with creative and production teams to ensure client logos and brand messages are effectively integrated into content.
    • Develop and pitch logo presence packages for shows, sporting events, and other content to ensure maximum exposure for client brands.

     Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Provide post-sale support, tracking campaign performance, and ensuring that all client requirements are met.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (creative, production, marketing) to ensure successful campaign execution.

    Market Research & Strategy:

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities within the media industry.
    • Stay updated on TV ratings, audience engagement, and content performance to recommend effective sales strategies to clients.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify target audiences and promote relevant advertising opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in TV media sales or a related field.
    • Proven track record in TV ad sales, event sponsorships, or branded content.
    • Strong understanding of TV programming, advertising sales processes, and audience metrics.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a passion for building relationships with clients.
    • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

    Working Conditions:

    • Full-time position with occasional travel required for events and client meetings.
    • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during live events or special broadcasts.
