Automotive Polisher

As an Automotive Polisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the vehicles have a flawless finish before they are delivered to the customers. Your primary duties will include polishing vehicles to remove any imperfections, scratches, or blemishes on the exterior surfaces. You will be using a variety of tools and products such as polishers, buffers, and compounds to achieve a high-quality shine. Attention to detail is crucial in this role to ensure the vehicles meet the highest standards of appearance. Additionally, you may be required to perform other tasks such as cleaning and detailing the interior of the vehicles. The ideal candidate should have a good eye for detail, be physically fit, and have previous experience in auto detailing or automotive polishing. Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess the condition of vehicles to determine the appropriate polishing techniques required.
• Polish and buff vehicle exteriors using mechanical or hand-operated tools to achieve desired finish.
• Apply wax, sealant, or protective coating to enhance the shine and durability of the vehicle's paint.
• Remove scratches, swirl marks, and other imperfections from the vehicle's surface.
• Clean and detail vehicle interiors as needed, including vacuuming, steam cleaning, and applying interior protectants.
• Perform final inspections to ensure quality standards are met before delivering vehicles to customers.
• Maintain polishing equipment and tools in good working condition, and perform regular maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep track of inventory levels of polishing materials and supplies, and place orders as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers to provide updates on polishing progress and address any concerns.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certification in automotive detailing or polishing is preferred.
• Prior experience as an automotive polisher is desirable.
• Knowledge of various polishing techniques and products.
• Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity skills.
