Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of software applications. This role involves working closely with development teams to implement robust testing frameworks and help deliver high-quality products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing

• Work closely with developers to understand requirements and incorporate testing needs into the development process

• Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based on software requirements and user stories

• Execute automated tests and analyze test results, providing feedback and identifying defects

• Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test environments and automated scripts

• Ensure software quality by performing root cause analysis and supporting debugging efforts

• Keep up to date with industry trends and tools to continuously improve testing processes

• Collaborate with other testers, developers, and stakeholders to improve product quality

• Provide detailed reports on test results, coverage, and performance metrics to the development team

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year in automation testing

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit)

• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins)

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies

• Experience in creating and maintaining test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
