Automation Test Engineer - Digital Banking

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation test scripts for digital banking applications to ensure high quality and efficiency of the software.
• Design and execute automated test cases to validate user stories, features, and enhancements in the digital banking platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test automation requirements, scope, and strategy for digital banking projects.
• Conduct test analysis, identify defects, and track defects to resolution using automation testing tools and methodologies.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for digital banking applications to improve test coverage and reliability.
• Participate in sprint planning, review meetings, and agile ceremonies to provide testing status and contribute to the overall success of the digital banking projects.
• Perform regression testing, load testing, and performance testing of digital banking applications to ensure stability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in automated test scripts, test environments, and test data to ensure accurate and timely test results.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and technologies related to automation testing in digital banking to continuously improve testing processes and deliverables.
• Mentor and train junior team members on automation testing concepts, tools, and techniques in the context of digital banking applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Experience in testing digital banking applications or financial services.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
