Automatic Pipeline Welders

As an Automatic Pipeline Welder, you will be responsible for the precise and efficient welding of pipelines using automated welding equipment. Your main duties will include setting up and operating automatic welding machines, ensuring proper alignment and fit-up of pipes, and monitoring the welding process to maintain high quality standards. You will work closely with the engineering team to interpret welding specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, experience with automated welding equipment, and a keen eye for detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are also key requirements for this role. A high school diploma or equivalent and relevant welding certifications are typically required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic welding equipment to join pipelines within specified tolerances.
• Inspect and set up welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and alignment.
• Monitor and adjust welding parameters as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with welding procedures and safety standards at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in welding or related field
• Previous experience working as a pipeline welder
