AutoCAD Draftsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our design and engineering team in the UAE. This role is responsible for creating precise technical drawings and layouts based on engineering specifications and project requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, technical accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software

• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and project requirements

• Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards and project guidelines

• Revise and update drawings based on engineer feedback and design changes

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to finalize drawings

• Maintain drawing files and documentation in an organized and accessible format

• Conduct site visits to collect data and support design adjustments if required

• Assist in preparing layouts, schematics, and as-built drawings

• Ensure that all drawings comply with local codes and company standards

• Support the design team with technical documentation and project submittals

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the UAE

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other CAD tools is a plus

• Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail

• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP plans

• Familiarity with local building regulations and project documentation standards

• Good communication and time-management skills
