Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. Key responsibilities include conducting hearing tests, fitting hearing aids, providing counseling on hearing loss prevention, and ensuring optimal patient care. The Audiologist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and may work with patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-focused approach are essential for success in this role. The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree and possess relevant state licensure or certification.


Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients with hearing, balance, and related ear problems.
  • Perform hearing tests and screenings to diagnose hearing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, such as hearing aids, cochlear implants, or auditory training.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss management and prevention.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Stay current on advancements in audiology research and technology.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the field of audiology through publications or presentations.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care and professional practice.
  • Doctoral degree in audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program.
  • State license to practice audiology.
  • Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) or a similar accrediting body.
  • Strong understanding of hearing disorders, evaluation techniques, and hearing aid technology.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with patients of varying ages and backgrounds.
