We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Audiologist to join our team. The Audiologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with hearing and balance disorders. Key responsibilities include conducting hearing tests, providing personalized treatment plans, fitting hearing aids, and offering counseling to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.), state licensure, and excellent communication skills. The Audiologist should also possess strong problem-solving abilities, empathy towards patients, and a passion for improving quality of life through better hearing. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations of patients with hearing and balance issues.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address hearing loss through various interventions.
  • Provide fitting, adjustment, and maintenance services for hearing aids and other assistive devices.
  • Educate patients and their families on hearing conservation and management strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Conduct screenings or assessments in various settings, such as schools or workplaces.
  • Stay updated on advancements in audiology practices and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and provide emotional support.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the practice of audiology.


Requirements

  • Master's degree in Audiology or related field.
  • Valid state licensure as an Audiologist.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Prior clinical experience in conducting audiological evaluations and providing interventions.
  • Knowledge of current trends and technology in the field of audiology.
