Associate Service Engineer (Fire Systems)

The Associate Service Engineer (Fire Systems) will support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire detection and suppression systems in compliance with UAE safety codes and regulations. This role involves working closely with senior engineers, contractors, and facility managers to ensure timely and effective service delivery. The candidate will gain hands-on experience in field operations and contribute to maintaining system functionality and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the installation and commissioning of fire alarm and fire suppression systems across commercial and industrial sites.

• Conducting routine preventive maintenance and inspection of fire systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with UAE Civil Defence standards.

• Troubleshooting faults and performing corrective actions under the guidance of senior service engineers.

• Preparing service reports and documenting work activities as per company procedures.

• Supporting emergency call-out services to address system malfunctions or alarms.

• Coordinating with project teams and vendors for timely procurement of system components.

• Participating in system testing and client handover processes.

• Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols during site visits and maintenance tasks.

• Keeping up to date with product manuals and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

• 1–2 years of experience in fire protection systems or similar technical field is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of fire detection and suppression technologies, such as addressable fire alarm panels, sprinklers, and gas suppression systems.

• Familiarity with UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

• A valid UAE driving license is preferred.

• Willingness to travel and work on-site at various client locations.
