Associate Data Engineer

We are looking for an Associate Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and support data infrastructure development, data processing, and analytics. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate data movement.
• Support data warehouse and data lake implementation for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure seamless data integration.
• Monitor data pipelines for performance, security, and reliability.
• Assist in cloud-based data architecture implementation (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize queries for better efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Document processes and contribute to best practices for data management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Scala for data manipulation and processing.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (Apache Airflow, Talend, DBT, etc.).
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Basic experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
