Assistant Professor- Nursing

The Assistant Professor - Nursing is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to nursing students in an educational institution. They will develop and teach courses, guide and mentor students, and contribute to the overall development of the nursing program. The Assistant Professor - Nursing will also engage in research, scholarly activities, and service to the institution and the nursing profession. This role requires strong teaching skills, subject matter expertise, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach courses in nursing, according to the program's curriculum.
• Engage students in active learning and facilitate discussions and activities.
• Prepare course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing students in their academic and professional development.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback on their progress.
• Conduct research and scholarly activities in the field of nursing.
• Collaborate with faculty members to continuously improve the nursing program.
• Participate in academic advising and mentoring of nursing students.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing program policies and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing education and integrate them into teaching practices.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Valid nursing license and clinical experience.
• Proven experience in teaching nursing courses or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
