Assistant Lift Engineer ( Installation)

The Assistant Lift Engineer (Installation) plays a vital role in supporting the installation and commissioning of lift and elevator systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation of lift systems according to engineering specifications and safety regulations

• Support senior engineers and technicians during assembly, wiring, and mechanical setup

• Perform routine checks and inspections during different stages of installation

• Help in the calibration and alignment of lift components such as doors, motors, and control panels

• Follow safety protocols and ensure tools and equipment are used correctly

• Read and interpret installation drawings and technical documentation

• Maintain accurate records of installation progress and report any issues to supervisors

• Support testing and commissioning processes to ensure proper lift function before handover

• Coordinate with other site teams to ensure smooth workflow and avoid delays

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all work complies with company and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field

• Previous experience or internship in lift/elevator installation is preferred

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
