We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team. The Assistant Front Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional stay and experience at our property.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the front desk, including check-ins, check-outs, guest requests, and ensuring proper billing procedures
- Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating and addressing guests' needs and concerns
- Train and supervise front office staff to ensure efficient and effective operation
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions
- Assist in developing and implementing front office policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Handle and resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering of supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all hotel safety and security policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a front office or guest service role
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of local area attractions, events, and restaurants
