Animal Groomer

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Animal Groomer to join our pet care team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on grooming experience, a love for animals, and the ability to ensure pets are groomed safely, hygienically, and according to breed standards and client preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning

• Style pets’ coats according to breed standards or customer requests

• Assess animals’ skin, coat, and overall condition before grooming

• Handle pets with care, patience, and professionalism to ensure their safety and comfort

• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized grooming area and equipment

• Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming services, needs, and concerns

• Identify and report health concerns such as infections, parasites, or injuries to management or veterinary staff

• Keep detailed grooming records and manage appointment schedules

• Maintain inventory of grooming supplies and request restocks when necessary

• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols during grooming sessions

  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a pet or animal groomer (minimum 2 years preferred)

• Certification or formal training in pet grooming is an advantage

• Comfortable working with dogs and cats of various breeds and temperaments

• Strong understanding of grooming techniques, coat types, and breed-specific styling

• Excellent animal handling and customer service skills

• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards

• Physically fit and able to lift and handle pets of various sizes

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required

• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
