Job Scope

The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments within Doveworth Limited. This position involves coordinating office activities, managing schedules, handling correspondence, and assisting with project documentation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing productivity and maintaining an organized work environment.


Duties and Responsibilities


Manage daily office operations, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries.

Schedule appointments and meetings for management and project teams.

Prepare and distribute internal communications, reports, and presentations.

Maintain filing systems for both electronic and paper documents.

Assist in the preparation of project documentation such as contracts, proposals, and progress reports.

Coordinate travel arrangements for staff as needed.

Support financial administration by processing invoices and expense reports.

Collaborate with team members on special projects as required.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all administrative tasks.


Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required


Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in work output.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles is an advantage.
