Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing the accounts receivable function of the organization, including processing and recording customer payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and monitoring overdue accounts. They ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collection of payments.


Responsibilities

  • Generate and send invoices to customers accurately and timely.
  • Record and reconcile customer payments in the accounting system.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts and implement collection strategies.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve payment-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the accounts receivable database.
  • Conduct credit assessments of new customers and manage credit limits.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable.
  • Stay updated with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of credit management principles.
  • Understanding of collection laws and practices.
