Department: Accounts and Logistics Coordinator

Reports To: Sr. Accountant and Logistics

Location: Dubai


Job Summary:


The Accounts and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing financial transactions, record-keeping, and logistics operations to ensure smooth business operations. This role involves handling accounts-related tasks, coordinating logistics activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential to effectively manage financial records and logistics functions.


Key Responsibilities:

 

Financial Transactions & Record-Keeping:

Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and receipts.

Process payments, reimbursements, and petty cash transactions.

Reconcile accounts and assist with financial reporting.

Vendor & Supplier Payments:

Coordinate with vendors to process invoices and payments in a timely manner.

Maintain records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.

Expense Monitoring & Budgeting:

Track departmental expenses and assist in budget preparation.

Ensure cost control and efficient allocation of financial resources.


Logistics Responsibilities:


Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to ensure stock availability.

Track shipments and manage logistics documentation.

Transportation and Distribution:

Plan and schedule transportation of goods for timely delivery.

Liaise with transport providers, freight forwarders, and customs officials.

Cost and Efficiency Optimization:

Analyze logistics operations and suggest improvements to reduce costs.

Maintain cost efficiency while ensuring quality service delivery.

Tracking and Reporting:

Maintain logs and records of shipments, financial transactions, and vendor performance.

Generate periodic reports on accounts and logistics activities.


Qualifications & Skills:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience in accounting, finance, or logistics coordination.

Strong knowledge of financial record-keeping and logistics operations.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
