Accountant

An Accountant plays a critical role in managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting organizational decision-making through detailed analysis. This role involves preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. A successful candidate should possess strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports.

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.

• Support internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and safeguard sensitive data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an accountant or in a relevant financial role.

• Proficiency in accounting software .

• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
