Accountant

An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting business decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis. This role involves handling daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting in audits and budgeting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently while contributing to the financial integrity of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledger and financial records

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable

• Support internal and external audit requirements

• Provide financial insights and reports to management as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Good organizational and time-management abilities
