Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in construction or industrial projects. The role requires a strong technical background, project coordination skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and review mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and team deliverables.

• Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to specifications and codes.

• Prepare technical documentation, calculations, and reports.

• Evaluate and select mechanical equipment and materials.

• Ensure quality control and resolve any mechanical issues on-site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; professional certification is a plus.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the UAE.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software.

• Thorough knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and project management.

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
