Dentist

A Dentist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing various dental issues in patients. They provide comprehensive oral health care, including performing dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals. Dentists also educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and promote preventive dental care. A successful Dentist should have excellent clinical skills, communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct dental examinations and assessments for patients.
• Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients.
• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, root canals, and extractions.
• Clean teeth, remove plaque, and provide fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Detect and manage oral diseases and conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals.
• Stay current on advancements in the field of dentistry through continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with all dental regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
• Valid DHA license to practice dentistry.
• Completion of a dental residency program is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
