Job Description
A 3D Artist creates stunning and realistic 3D models, animations, and visual effects for a variety of purposes, such as gaming, advertising, film, or architectural visualization. They are skilled in using 3D modeling software and techniques to bring concepts to life. 3D Artists collaborate with creative teams, follow design briefs, and ensure that projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D models and animations using specialized software.
- Interpret design briefs and conceptualize ideas into accurate 3D representations.
- Add textures, lighting, and other visual effects to enhance models and scenes.
- Collaborate with designers, animators, and other team members to meet project requirements.
- Follow industry best practices and remain updated with the latest techniques.
- Optimize 3D assets for performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to 3D modeling and rendering.
- Review and provide feedback on the work of junior artists.
- Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and meet quality standards.
- Continuously improve skills and experiment with new tools and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in 3D design, animation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in 3D modeling and animation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max).
- Strong artistic and creative skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
