Visual Merchandiser Associate - Furniture

The Visual Merchandiser Associate – Furniture is responsible for executing creative merchandising strategies that enhance the aesthetic appeal and commercial impact of furniture showrooms and retail spaces. This role involves styling product displays, implementing seasonal themes, and maintaining brand consistency across the store layout. Working in a fast-paced retail environment in the UAE, the associate collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and store operations teams to optimize product visibility and drive customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Creating attractive and functional furniture displays that align with the brand’s identity and seasonal marketing themes.

• Arranging furniture and décor items to highlight product features and maximize space utilization.

• Supporting in the setup of new store openings, refurbishments, and promotional displays.

• Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to align merchandising strategies with sales goals.

• Monitoring store layout and adjusting visual presentations based on customer traffic flow and sales trends.

• Ensuring merchandising materials, signage, and props are well-maintained and updated regularly.

• Conducting regular store audits to ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards.

• Staying informed about interior design trends and incorporating them into merchandising concepts.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related creative field.

• 1–3 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the furniture or home décor industry.

• Strong sense of design, color coordination, and spatial planning.

• Ability to work with design tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite or visual planning tools.

• Good organizational and project management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of the UAE retail market and customer preferences is an advantage.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during store events or launches.
