Job Description

As a Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating travel arrangements for clients or employees. Your duties will include booking flights, hotels, and transportation, preparing itineraries, and ensuring all travel plans run smoothly. You will communicate with clients to understand their preferences and budget constraints, providing them with options tailored to their needs. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date on travel regulations, recommend travel insurance options, and handle any changes or issues that may arise during travel. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate travel itineraries for employees, ensuring all aspects of travel arrangements are handled efficiently.
  • Book flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel arrangements according to specified budget guidelines.
  • Research and negotiate with travel vendors to obtain the best rates and services for corporate travel.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed travel itineraries and documents to employees, including necessary trip information.
  • Monitor travel schedules and make necessary adjustments or changes as needed.
  • Assist with visa applications, travel insurance, and other relevant documentation as required.
  • Keep abreast of travel industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency in travel arrangements.
  • Manage and reconcile travel expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to travelers, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during their trips.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as HR and finance to coordinate travel approvals and ensure alignment with company travel policies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in travel booking systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
