Job Description

As a Telesales Officer in the banking sector, your primary responsibility will be to proactively reach out to prospective clients over the phone to promote and sell various banking products and services. By utilizing your excellent communication and persuasion skills, you will engage with customers to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable banking solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for explaining the features and benefits of different banking products, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns, and ultimately closing sales to meet or exceed sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers for promoting banking products and services.
  • Handle incoming calls from customers regarding their banking needs and provide assistance and information.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by pitching products and services effectively over the phone.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to address customer inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Update customer information in the database during and after each call to ensure accurate records.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all compliance and regulatory guidelines while carrying out sales activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and managers to share best practices and achieve team goals.
  • Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through training and development opportunities.


Requirements

  • Qualifications for Telesales Officer - Banking:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in telesales or customer service preferred.
  • Good communication skills and ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • Familiarity with banking products and services is a plus.
  • Strong sales acumen and ability to meet targets.
