Structural Steel Fabricator

The Structural Steel Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating and welding various steel structures according to engineering specifications. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate steel structures.
• Measure, cut, shape, and weld steel components using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Set up and operate various machinery and equipment, such as cutting torches, welding machines, and grinders.
• Inspect fabricated structures to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to resolve design issues.
• Adhere to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
• Complete projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a structural steel fabricator, preferably with certification.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques and welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in a demanding environment.
