Staff Nurse - Dermatology

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse specialized in Dermatology to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist dermatologists in various procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the dermatology department. This role requires strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• provide direct nursing care to dermatology patients, including assessments, treatments, and follow-up care
• assist dermatologists with skin treatments, laser therapy, cosmetic procedures, and minor surgical interventions
• educate patients on skincare routines, post-treatment care, and dermatological conditions
• administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
• maintain and sterilize medical equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control standards
• document patient history, treatment plans, and progress reports accurately in medical records
• collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans
• monitor patient responses to treatments and promptly report any adverse reactions
• ensure patient confidentiality and uphold ethical nursing practices at all times
• participate in continuous learning and training to stay updated on the latest dermatology nursing practices

Requirements:

• bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or diploma in nursing from a recognized institution
• valid HAAD license or eligibility as a Registered Nurse in the UAE
• minimum of 2-3 years of experience in dermatology or aesthetic nursing
• strong knowledge of dermatological treatments, skincare, and laser procedures
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient-centered care
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation
