Job Description

The Specialist Urology is responsible for diagnosing and treating medical conditions related to the urinary system and male reproductive system. They will perform surgeries, provide medical consultations, and offer preventive care to patients. Additionally, they will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and examinations of patients.
  • Diagnose and treat urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and other urological conditions.
  • Perform surgeries, such as kidney stone removal or prostate enlargement surgery.
  • Prescribe medication and other treatments.
  • Provide medical consultations to patients and educate them about their condition.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor and follow up with patients to assess treatment effectiveness.
  • Keep accurate and updated medical records.
  • Stay updated with advancements in urology and maintain professional certifications.
  • Participate in research and clinical trials, if applicable.
  • Medical degree specializing in Urology.
  • Current valid medical license.
  • Residency training in Urology.
  • Board-certification or eligibility for board certification in Urology.
  • Proven experience as a Specialist Urology.
  • In-depth knowledge of urological conditions, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards patients.
