Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Radiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical images such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, and mammograms to diagnose and treat patients. The Specialist Radiologist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnosis, as well as recommend treatment plans based on their findings. Additionally, the role involves conducting and analyzing diagnostic tests, performing procedures such as biopsies and fluoroscopy, and staying up-to-date on advancements in radiology technology. The successful candidate will possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, be board-certified in radiology, and have a valid state license to practice. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care are essential.


Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and fluoroscopies.
  • Provide accurate and timely radiological diagnoses to guide patient treatment plans.
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed in the imaging department.
  • Consult with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and collaborate on patient care.
  • Supervise and train radiology technologists on proper imaging techniques and protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of all procedures performed and patient outcomes.
  • Stay current on advances in radiology technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide expert input on complex cases and assist other healthcare professionals in making informed decisions.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in patient care and interactions.
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of residency training in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certification in Radiology
  • Valid state medical license
  • Strong knowledge and experience in interpreting various radiological images and procedures
