Specialist Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

We are seeking a dedicated Specialist in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine to join our healthcare team in the UAE. This role involves providing expert care to critically ill pediatric patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence. Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive critical care to pediatric patients in the ICU

• Perform detailed assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for critically ill children

• Lead resuscitation and emergency response efforts within the pediatric ICU

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed in real-time

• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, nurses, and other specialists

• Communicate effectively with families, offering support and clear information

• Participate in clinical rounds, case reviews, and interdisciplinary meetings

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory standards

• Mentor junior doctors and medical trainees in pediatric critical care practices

• Contribute to research initiatives and continuous medical education efforts

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

• Valid license to practice in the UAE or eligibility for licensure.

• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in pediatric intensive care

• Proven expertise in managing ventilators, invasive monitoring, and life-support systems

• Strong decision-making skills under high-pressure conditions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development
