Job Description

The Spa Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests at the spa. This role involves welcoming and assisting guests, scheduling appointments, and promoting and selling retail products and service packages. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience for all guests.


Key Responsibilities:


Guest Services:


  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with inquiries about spa services, treatments, and packages.
  • Provide detailed information about spa facilities.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.


Appointment Management:


  • Schedule and confirm spa appointments accurately.
  • Coordinate with therapists and technicians to ensure smooth operation and timely services.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date appointment on software system.


Retail and Service Package Sales:


  • Promote and sell spa retail products, including Hair care, Skin care, and wellness items.
  • Educate guests on the benefits and features of retail products.
  • Upsell and cross-sell spa service packages, encouraging guests to try new treatments and services.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets for retail products and service packages.


Administrative Duties:


  • Process payments and handle cash transactions efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of retail products and supplies.
  • Prepare daily reports and perform end-of-day reconciliation.


Team Collaboration:


  • Work closely with the spa team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively with therapists, technicians, and other staff members.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a spa or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Arabic speaker is a plus
  • Proficient in using computer software and appointment scheduling systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and move retail products and supplies as needed.
