Shipping Manager

The Shipping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and logistics operations of an organization. The role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills. The Shipping Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, such as vendors and customers, to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate shipping and logistics activities.
• Ensure that shipments are delivered on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
• Communicate with vendors, freight forwarders, and customs officials to coordinate transportation and resolve any issues.
• Monitor and track the movement of shipments.
• Optimize shipping processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as carriers and customs brokers.
• Identify and select appropriate shipping methods and routes.
• Resolve any shipping-related disputes or claims.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures.
• Prepare and analyze shipping performance reports.

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in shipping and logistics or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
