Service Engineer

A Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment and machinery. This role requires diagnosing technical issues, performing routine servicing, and ensuring optimal functionality of systems. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain technical equipment and machinery.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing to ensure equipment efficiency.

• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on system operation.

• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and service reports.

• Collaborate with other departments to address technical issues.

• Offer training sessions to clients and staff on equipment usage.

• Ensure timely resolution of service requests and minimize downtime.

• Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering (electrical, mechanical, electronics, or related field).

• Proven experience as a service engineer or similar role.

• Strong technical knowledge of equipment, machinery, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

• Ability to work independently and travel as required.

• Experience with diagnostic tools and maintenance software is a plus.
