Job Description

The Senior Media Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of media planning, buying, and optimization. They will develop media strategies to effectively reach the target audience and achieve campaign objectives. In this role, the Senior Media Manager will manage relationships with media vendors, negotiate rates, and monitor campaign performance to ensure maximum ROI. They will lead a team of media planners and buyers, providing guidance and support to drive successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in media planning and buying, strong communication and leadership skills, and a track record of implementing successful media campaigns across various channels. This position requires a strategic thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive innovative solutions to meet business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of media campaigns across various channels such as digital, print, television, and radio.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to optimize media plans and deliver maximum ROI.
  • Manage relationships with media vendors, negotiating partnerships and securing advantageous advertising placements.
  • Lead a team of media specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive team performance and results.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of media campaigns, using data insights to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging media trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of media innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and sales, to align media initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and manage budgets for media activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in all media activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proven experience in media management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Strong understanding of media trends, technologies, and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using media planning and analytics tools.
