Senior Site Architect

The Senior Site Architect plays a pivotal role in overseeing architectural projects from concept through construction on-site. This professional ensures that all architectural aspects of construction projects are delivered in accordance with design intent, specifications, and local regulations. Working closely with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders, the Senior Site Architect manages design coordination, resolves technical issues, and ensures the highest standards of construction quality and aesthetic integrity. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of architectural principles and building systems.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise architectural construction activities and ensure design compliance on site.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and engineering teams to resolve design and construction issues.

• Review and approve architectural shop drawings, materials, and samples.

• Ensure construction aligns with the design specifications, quality standards, and local codes.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and adherence to architectural design.

• Lead design coordination meetings and provide technical guidance during construction.

• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to address and resolve site-related issues.

• Prepare and submit site progress reports, documentation, and compliance records.

• Ensure timely resolution of design clashes or changes during construction.

• Support project handover procedures and ensure completion of architectural punch lists.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including strong site-based project delivery.

• Proven experience on large-scale commercial or residential projects.

• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and materials.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.

• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
