Senior Roller - (Steel Company)

Responsibilities

• Operate and control heavy machinery such as rollers to compact materials on construction sites.
• Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of equipment to achieve desired compaction levels.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize compaction and meet project specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment for safety and performance purposes.
• Collaborate with construction team to coordinate compaction efforts and meet project deadlines.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines to promote a safe work environment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Train and mentor junior roller operators to ensure proper machine operation and compaction techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to prolong lifespan and ensure efficient operation.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a steel manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of rolling mill operations and equipment.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to lead a team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
